The other day I found a rubbery, squishy, cute-looking object on the floor. It had a hole on the bottom, and it looked like it would fit over a pencil quite nicely.
"What is this?" I asked.
"A Squinky!" replied the children.
"A Squinky?" I asked again. "What is a Squinky?"
Apparently, they are little collectibles that third graders love. Now we have something that could be added to the prize box. Who knew?

I laughed when Harrison told me that Go Go's are still around. My twenty year old son still has his collection in his closet. We used to buy them at Zany Brainy, before they went out of business, and Culver's used to put them in their kids' meals. That's one toy I know about in a world of new ones! ;) Mrs. Smith
