Here is a descriptive paragraph which Shreya wrote about the ocean, as we are studying it for one of our habitats in Science:
Oceans are a delightful sight. You can see the sand and the water gushing to shore. You can smell the smell of saltwater at sea. You can hear water coming on to the bank, and if you put a seashell to your ears you can hear the ocean. I cna feel water, wet sand, and dry sand. Oceans are a really cool place to be!

Shreya is right - the ocean is a delightful sight! The ocean makes a perfect topic to write about when you want to include your 5 senses for descriptive writing!

I went to Virginia Beach, the Atlantic Ocean. It was very fun. I wrote a personal narrative about it! But in that picture above, it almost looks like Hawaii.
