Morse Code

/ Monday, October 17, 2011 /

Our class is reading the book Balto, The Dog Who Saved Nome. In the story, a telegraph machine is used to signal that medicine is needed for the people in Nome who are suffering from diptheria.

Click on this link to type in a message then hear it (and see it) in Morse Code.

Have fun!

It's cool how people back then could actually understand a message that has beeps! I certainly couldn't. I also loved the story of Balto, The Dog who Saved Nome. The morse code thing is so fun!
