Prefixes "dis", "bi" and "im" or "in"

Today we learned more about the prefixes dis, bi and im or in. Dis means "not". Bi means "two." Im and in also mean "not".

Here are words the class came up with for the prefix "dis":
  • disobey
  • disagree
  • dislike
  • disorder
  • disappear
  • disregard
  • disability
  • disadvantage
  • discourage
  • disbelief
Here are words they thought of for the prefix "bi":
  • bivalve
  • bicycle
  • biplane
  • bicarbonate
  • biannual
Finally, here are words they thought of for the prefixes "im" or "in":
  • impossible
  • inconvenient
  • impatient
  • incomplete
  • inflexible
  • incomprehension
  • invalid
  • inconceivable
  • inaccessible
  • impractical
  • invisible

This could never happen but i have a sentence with 3 words in it "My sister was so discouraged for me to ride a bicycle well I was being invisible". ~Elaina
