The Panorama in Queens Museum of Art

Today we discovered that a model of New York City was built for the World's Fair in 1964. It contained every single building that existed in all five burroughs of New York City at the time.

Brian Selznick, who wrote Wonderstruck, used this as part of his story. His drawing are now on display at the QMA (Queens Museum of Art).

The picture above shows the Panorama being constructed.
